I met Ms. Hebert in 2012 when I was experiencing grief as a result of the death of my dog aka "fur baby" Princess. I was apprehensive about meeting with her because I had already met with two therapists who did not understand pet grief. They were so dismissive and actually suggested that getting another pet might help me get closure. That's like telling a mother to just have another child if her child dies. Anyway, Ms. Hebert totally understood because she had experienced the same thing 10 years earlier. She was so compassionate and understanding and really helped me understand how I could move forward. (I am single and my dog was my baby, so to find someone who truly understood because of first hand experience was like a miracle.) I have seen her at various times through out the years and she has always been able to help me overcome the problems I was experiencing. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a genuine therapist who will listen and truly help.
